Challenge in summary:
In gyms equipped with cardio machines used for warm-up followed by machines used in a specific sequence, or circle, there is a risk that customers want to use the same machine at the same time. Who’s turn is it? No one wants to wait for a specific machine to be free. This might be negative for the customer experience and also the gym’s overall capacity.

Solution:
Let customers pass a check in station where they check in using the gym’s RFID bracelets, select a warm up time and number of laps in the circle of machines. On wall mounted TVs, members are guided when to go from warm up to start in the circle.

Outcome
Misunderstandings are reduced and gym efficiency increases.
